A bi-directional connector between AEM and Veeva Vault PromoMats, which allows approved content and digital assets to be accessed from one document repository and published in the other.
Veeva Vault PromoMats functions as the central DAM for all approved content and digital assets. Veeva Vault PromoMats enables the "syncing" of assets and related metadata seamlessly to AEM thru the addition of an easily accessible custom action. For example, an approved image or logo could be pulled from Veeva Vault PromoMats and published on a website.
It can also be used to push content to the vault. A layout system for a brand's interactive sales aid could be created in Adobe Experience Manager that shares assets with the same brand's HCP website, creating speed efficiency in asset creation. These assets can then be uploaded directly into Veeva Vault PromoMats for review, approval and publishing to the Website or Veeva iRep application via the Veeva CRM.
AEM will never modify Vault's assets; Veeva Vault PromoMats continues to conduct asset lifecycle processes and maintain a single source of truth.
Current AEM authoring practices and capabilities are used to create Veeva content. Components are developed in AEM utilizing pages, templates, etc. as they would be for designing any new site page. Configurations use OSGI bundles to facilitate management via AEM consoles. This allows new functionality via common coding practices with interfaces.
Setup is a straightforward process of deploying packages in AEM and Veeva Vault, followed by the appropriate testing to verify functionality.
The AEM-Veeva Vault connector is implemented into existing licensed systems, so no new AEM or Veeva licenses are required.
